Western's Wine and Food Festival, featuring over 700 wines from around the world, wine experts on hand to answer questions, and food prepared by chefs from Jefferson State Culinary School, is Thursday, September 30th 2010 at 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM at the Birmingham Zoo. Proceeds to benefit the Emmet O'Neal Library. Tickets are available at all Western supermarkets and the library.
To prepare our palates for the festival, join us for The Wide World of White Wines at Emmet O'Neal Library on Thursday, September 9th from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM for an advanced beginner's class on white wines with special guest Scott Atkinson from Western in Mountain Brook Village.

The Library will be closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27th. The Library will reopen on SUMMER HOURS at 9am on Tuesday, May 28th.
