It’s taking the
social distancing and education worlds by storm, but some are taking too much
advantage of the hottest online videoconferencing app. Security concerns have cropped up from many
directions as use of the platform, both personal and professional, has
experienced a surge over the last several weeks.
Zoom stopped development of new products on
Friday to clamp down even further on security over the weekend. Zoom can be a great service, from staying
connected with friends and family, to that next yoga class you’ve been needing
(the Library plans to start virtual classes next week!), to visiting with your book
group friends (we’ve got you covered there too, check the calendar!).
