Arthur C. Clarke, age 90, was found deceased at his home in Sri Lanka a short time ago.

Clarke was more than just a science fiction author, he also co-wrote a movie with Stanley Kubrick (2001: a Space Odyssey) and was a commentator with Walter Cronkite on the Apollo moonshots of the 1960's.
