iPhone Access to Gale Databases!

The Gale AccessMyLibrary iPhone App uses GPS to find public libraries within a 10-mile radius of the user's location, then gives them free, unlimited access to reputable, authoritative Gale online resources — without the need to authenticate.

Happy searching!

Ok. That is very cool! Thanks for letting us know. Do we have to be on a library wi-fi network to use it?

From what their website says, this iPhone app checks for libraries subscribing to Gale databases in a 10 mile radius of your location and allows access to those libraries' Gale databases without requiring authentication. If you decide to give it a try, let us know how it works!

In reading over what I just wrote, I don't think I answered the question, sorry :/

No, you should not have to be connected to any particular library's wi-fi for this app to work!
