Financial Literacy Month and a chance to win a savings bond

Since September, I have had a great time delving into the personal finance and investing topics from the Smart Investing @ Your Library series, and I hope you have, too. This spring, we are heading into the home stretch. This Thursday, April 5th at 6:30 pm, Dr. Rauterkus will tell us all about saving for retirement.

Since April is Financial Literacy Month, we want to do something really special so we are having a big contest! Here is what you need to do for a chance to win: Submit a short review on the online catalog of a personal finance or investing book and you will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 savings bond. Submitting a review is simple and is a great way to interact with other readers! Click here for instructions on how to submit a review.

The winner of the drawing will be announced at the Smart Investing finale featuring Dolores Hydock on Thursday, May 10th at 6:30 pm in the library meeting room. See you there!

Please call the Library to register for these programs, or register online via the Smart Investing @ EOL page on our website. Smart investing@your library® is a grant-funded program developed collaboratively by the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. The program addresses the growing need for unbiased financial and investor education at the grassroots level.
